The offense of Passing a School Bus while Loading or Unloading is a serious criminal offense. It is considered so serious that the law prohibits the Judge from sentencing you to Court Supervision regardless of your driving record. Consequently, your driving privileges may be suspended if you plead guilty or are found guilty of that charge. Therefore, the charge must be amended to some other offense if you hope to keep your driving privileges.
Furthermore, a conviction for any moving violation or a driver's license suspension will dramatically increase your insurance rates regardless of your age. It may even disqualify you from obtaining insurance at any price. Therefore, it is important that you do all that you can to keep this ticket off of your driving record. It may be possible to do so even if you have already had Court Supervision for a previous speeding ticket.
