Passing or Failure to Yield to and Emergency Vehicle

The offense of Passing or Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle is a serious criminal offense. It is considered so serious that your driving privileges will be suspended if you plead guilty or are found guilty of that charge. Therefore, you must either be found not guilty or you must be sentenced to Court Supervision or the charge must be amended to some other offense, if you hope to keep your driving privileges.

Furthermore, a conviction for any moving violation or a driver's license suspension will dramatically increase your insurance rates regardless of your age. It may even disqualify you from obtaining insurance at any price. Therefore, it is important that you do all that you can to keep this ticket off of your driving record. It may be possible to do so even if you have already had Court Supervision for a previous speeding ticket.
